About CDG Innovations

Carlos Vazquez and David Kay (cofounders) met at an elearning conference in New York City in 2012. They share a passion for education and technology with the mission to transform the elearning landscape. This led them to create CDG Innovations.

Carlos holds dual master’s degrees in Education and Web Strategy and has spent the last 10 years as an Educator, Entrepreneur, and Trainer. He currently serves as adjunct professor at Miami Dade College, sits on the Vice Provost’s council at Florida International University, and previously served as the Director of a Technology Bootcamp. He is a digital marketing consultant and has expertise in SEO, growth hacking, and leveraging data to make informed decisions. Originally from New York City, Carlos graduated from Fordham University with a degree in computer science. Carlos is passionate about closing the opportunity divide and empowerment of individuals through technology.

As an academic researcher, business consultant, and special events producer, David has lived and worked at the intersection of neurobehavioral education and digital technology for over four decades. He has presented at conferences throughout the country - most notably at the International Conference on e-Learning in the Workplace (ICELW) and has produced educationally themed corporate trade shows. An educational software engineer, coder and designer, David started in the punch card era and programmed all the way into the dawning of the xAPI generation. His expertise is in how people learn and how to leverage technology to ensure authentic learning takes place.
